JAINS IN PERTH

A number of Jains have migrated from East Africa to Perth. Mr Amu Shah a great pioneer of Jain heritage, migrated to Perth in 1194. At that time there were 10 families in Perth and by 1995 their number had gone to 30 families by 2000. Dr Parkash Mehta and Mukesh Jain have been instrumental in setting up regular satsangs at a community center.
